1. Do I have to come to your facility in Bolingbrook, Illinois to have my hair analyzed?
No. We make the process convenient for you where you can stay in the comfort of your own home. Just send us your hair by following the directions after purchase. When your analysis is complete, we will send your tailored report to the email address you provide.
2. Why do I need to have my hair analyzed?
Similar to having a battery of tests done in your physician’s office to determine your physical state of health, you should think of hair testing as a baseline assessment of your hair’s health. Anyone wanting to have her/his hair at its best should have an analysis.
3. Is there an appropriate age to have the analysis done?
We know that there can be hair challenges during any stage of life so as long as you have hair, we can help no matter what your age is.
4. Does it matter if I have natural or chemically-treated hair?
We understand that everyone has her/his own style so we assess your hair as it is. If you are transitioning out of a particular treatment, our grooming questionnaire will give us the necessary information to give you the advice you need.
5. Do you recommend products?
It depends. If you are happy with the performance of your products, we don’t fix what isn’t broken; however, if we determine that there are hair issues that are caused by what you use, we will make suggestions that may include specific products.
6. Do you specialize in hair that is a particular hair type or from a specific ethnic group?
Research indicates that women with curlier hair types tend to have more hair problems; so, we tend to help people who have this hair type because there is more demand. However, we serve people who have hair that is straight, curly, short, or long and ethnic background does not matter.
7. How long does it take to get my results?
Your report will be sent to you via email no more than 4 weeks after we receive your hair samples. If your service does not require us to do a hair analysis, you will receive results in 3 weeks or less.
8. How do I know which service is right for me?
Please refer to the explanations about the different reports on the services page to determine which service fits your needs.
